The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology respects the personal data privacy of all individuals and pledges to be in compliance with the requirements of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance of Hong Kong (“PDPO”) so that the privacy of your personal data is protected in accordance with the standard required by law.

In doing so, the University has issued a personal data privacy policy to provide guidance to staff about the collection, usage, retention, disclosure and security of personal data, to ensure compliance with the PDPO and adherence to the strictest standards of security and confidentiality.  Individuals also have the right to request access to and correct their personal data held by the University.
